River Kanaird

The River Kanaird is an attractive spate river with a number of good pools and runs. It can produce excellent fly fishing for both salmon and sea trout in the right conditions.

Wild brown trout fishing is available on Loch a' Chroisg, the Estate's largest loch. A number of smaller hill lochs, some requiring quite a long walk in, also have brown trout waiting to challenge the more energetic angler. All fishing is from the bank.

Neighbouring estates may also have availability on their rivers and lochs. The Oykel, Kirkaig and Inver are all within easy reach as are a multitude of lochs including Veyatie, Sionascaig and Assynt. Early booking with the relevant estates, especially for river fishing, is essential. Sea fishing is available via various local operators.
